James E Zimmerman

James E. Zimmerman has over 20 years of experience in the securities industry. He has been directly involved in the due diligence, analysis and structuring of several billion dollars of senior, high yield, mezzanine debt, and private equity in a variety of industries.

Prior to forming Lowell Capital Management in early 2003, Mr. Zimmerman was a Managing Director at two boutique investment banks as well as a First Vice President in Corporate Finance at Paine Webber. From 1984 to 1990, Mr. Zimmerman served in the corporate finance department of Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc.

Mr. Zimmerman holds a B.A. from Princeton University with high honors and an M.B.A. from Stanford Business.

Abigail Zimmerman

Research Analyst:

  • Research Analyst with Lowell Capital Management, the management entity for LCF.

  • B.A. Loyola Marymount University, Hilton School of Business.

  • Research small and medium cap companies.

  • Prepares investment summaries and presentations.

  • Assist in preparation of write-ups for Value Investors Club.

  • Conduct research, study, and evaluate financial reports and statements.

  • Investigate financial statements of businesses to determine intrinsic value.

  • Participate in investor meetings and interact with management teams.

  • Analyze undervalued and/or misunderstood companies to find patterns that may reveal business opportunities.
